Some tenants use a masked IP address, meaning the IP shown on the gate screen is not the device’s actual network address. If you suspect the displayed IP is masked, ask on-site staff to follow this simplified process:

  1. Press the Settings button.

  2. Navigate to Ethernet, then go to Network — the IP address will be shown there (e.g., 10.3.53.234).

  3. If the IP address shows a completely different subnet such as 192.168.35.x, or if it doesn’t match what is shown in the portal, it is likely a masked address.

  4. Enable DHCP by checking it as Yes.

  5. Power cycle the gate.

  6. After the reboot, reopen the same Network settings to confirm the updated IP address — this should be the gate’s real IP.
