1. Gate Is Not Opening

If a gate does not open as expected:

  1. Navigate to the app and open the gate manually using the Gate Override feature under Attendant Mode.

  2. Once the gate has been opened, it’s a good idea to power-cycle the gate by turning it off and back on. This can be done directly on the affected gate’s control system.

Power-cycling the gate helps reset the connection and often resolves minor communication or signal issues.

2. Wrong Gate Opened

If the wrong gate opens, or if a vehicle is in the lane and its gate does not open:

  1. Use Gate Override under Attendant Mode to manually raise the correct gate.

  2. Check whether the member was scanned correctly. Incorrect or incomplete scans can cause the system to trigger the wrong gate or fail to open the correct one.

Verifying the member’s scan helps ensure that the system recognizes the correct account and gate association.

Summary

By following these steps, attendants can quickly identify and resolve common gate issues, ensuring a smoother experience for both members and staff. Regularly checking connections and verifying scans can help prevent most gate malfunctions.
