Maintaining Operations During Network Issues - Clarity Sites

When a Clarity site experiences intermittent internet connectivity issues that disrupt the normal vehicle processing flow in the wash system, follow these steps to keep the site operational.

These procedures are intended for use after attempting standard network troubleshooting steps and confirming that the internet connection issues cannot be immediately resolved. These are temporary workaround measures to maintain business operations during extended network outages.

  1. Configure Gates for Service Mode

    • Switch the gates to "Service" Mode.

    • Raise the gates to allow vehicle access.

  2. Disable Automated Gate Controls
    ​

    • Open the Attendant mode section of the App.

    • Click the "Gate Overrides" button.

    • Turn off the gates to prevent automated operation during network issues.

  3. Process Customers via Attendant Mode

    • Use LTE tablets or mobile phones to process customers.

  4. Initiate Washes for Customers

    • Once the customers have been assisted in Attendant mode, process washes for customers directly on the wash controller.
