How to Reset Clarity Devices

How to reset devices at Clarity sites.

Occasionally, you may need to reset a kiosk or device for troubleshooting. This action can be performed in the app.

Note: This action is made available based on the role of the user. Please contact your administrator for more information and/or if you aren't seeing these options.

There are multiple device types in the Clarity system:

  1. Display - these are the non-interactive displays that greet your customers.


    The display naming convention is XXX-SITE-DISP-1.

  2. Loader - this is the station in the tunnel that sends sessions to the wash controller.


    The loader naming convention is XXX-SITE-LOAD-1.

  3. Tunnel - these are the kiosks at your tunnel sites that your customers might interact with via touch screen.


    The tunnel device naming convention is XXX-SITE-TNL-1. These are the kiosks located at the lane.

  4. Auto - these are the kiosks at your in-bay-automatic sites that your customers might interact with via touch screen.


    The auto device naming convention is XXX-SITE-AUTO-1.

To reset a device in the app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app, and enter Attendant Mode.

  2. Select the Maintenance Button.

  3. Use the Device Dropdown to select which device to reset.

  4. Click Reboot.
