General Configurations

The general configurations dictate global configurations through the app and portal. This guide breaks down what can be modified through this page.

This article will cover the configurations on the main General Configurations tab:

Enable Preview Mode on Initial Login Screen - Allows users to browse available locations without signing in or creating an account.

Require SMS Verification - Requires users to verify their phone number via SMS when creating an account.

Wash Code Expiration Date Required - Determines whether wash codes must have an expiration date set.

Enable Code Screen Animation - Displays an animated light bar on active wash codes in the app to prevent fraud.

Show How Did You Hear About Us - Displays a dropdown during signup to track customer acquisition sources for reporting.

Enable Delete Account - Allows users to delete their account directly from the app.

User Notification Preference Edit Access - Sets which role level can modify user notification preferences in the portal.

Power BI Role - Displays your Power BI key if embedded reports have been configured for your portal.

Allow Send Gift Card - Enables users to send gift cards to other recipients via email.

Gift Card Max Amount - Sets the maximum dollar amount allowed for gift card purchases.

Referral Discount - The credit amount awarded to users when their referral signs up for a membership.

Allow Trial Wash for First Time Users - Automatically grants new users a free wash on their first visit.

Show All Deals Tab in Deals Screen - Displays all created deals in the app's Deals section.

Display Cash Machine QR Code - Shows the QR code on cash machine kiosks for easy app-to-device linking.

Allow Manual Credit Management - Enables portal users to manually adjust customer credit balances.

Allow CSRs to Manually Adjust Credit Balance - Grants CSR role permission to increase or decrease customer credits.

Allow CSRs to Apply Coupons - Grants CSR role permission to apply promotional codes to customer subscriptions.

Allow CSRs to Issue Refunds - Grants CSR role permission to process customer refunds.

CSR Refund Window (minutes) - Restricts CSRs to only refund invoices within the specified time period after purchase.

Allow Site Lead to Issue Refunds - Grants Site Lead role permission to process customer refunds.

Site Lead Refund Window (minutes) - Restricts Site Leads to only refund invoices within the specified time period after purchase.

​Accepts Google Pay - Enables customers to make purchases using Google Pay.

Accepts Apple Pay - Enables customers to make purchases using Apple Pay.

One Time Purchase Tax Treatment - Determines whether tax on one-time purchases is calculated as exclusive (added to the price) or inclusive (included in the price).

Display Wash Type Price Overlay - Shows the wash price overlaid on each wash option during the purchase flow in the app.

Overlay Size (px), Overlay Top (px), Overlay Right (px) - Controls the size and position of the price overlay from the top-right corner.

Color - Sets the font color for the price overlay.

Always Check if User Has Accessories - Requires users to confirm whether their vehicle has accessories before each wash.

Accessories Prompt Categories - Prompts users about specific accessory types on their vehicle.

Tip Max Amount $ - Sets the maximum tip amount customers can add when tipping is enabled.

Allow Remote Wash - Enables users to generate wash codes off-site for later redemption.

Allow CSRs to Void Remote Washes - Grants CSRs permission to remove or void remote wash codes from customer accounts.

Allow Members to Pull Wash Codes - Enables members to generate wash codes for terminal redemption. Disabling adds fraud prevention.

Allow Members to Discard Wash Codes - Allows members to cancel wash codes they've already generated.

Enable Pay Per Wash After Limit Reached - Allows retail wash purchases once daily membership wash limits are reached.

Show Wash Code Until Wash Complete - Keeps the wash code screen active until the user clicks "Wash Complete."

Show Code Characters Below Bar/QR Code - Displays the alphanumeric wash code beneath the barcode or QR code.

Sets Expirations in days on the different saved washes available in the app.

Show Garage Dropdown on Add Vehicle Screen - Displays the option to select or change the garage location when adding a vehicle.

Enable Usage History Detail View - Allows users to view detailed wash history and usage information.

Capture VIN on Vehicles - Enables VIN collection and storage on customer vehicle records.

Allow Coming Soon Locations for Employees (with roles) - Grants role-based employees access to view and test at locations before public launch.

Show Floating QR Code Button in Mobile App - Displays a floating QR code button that attendants can scan to instantly navigate to the customer's account without searching.

Enable Wash Process and Controller Status Configurations - Activates advanced wash process and controller status settings.

License Plate Character Min & License Plate Character Max - Sets the minimum and maximum character length requirements for license plate entries.
