The Scan Results page provides users with access to license plate recognition (LPR) scan data, including filtering tools and detailed scan records.

Navigation Path:

Portal > Scan Results

Search & Filter Options:

  • Location
    Dropdown to filter results by scan location (e.g., “Atlanta Tech Village”).

  • Test Results
    Filter based on scan outcome or status.

  • Start Date / End Date
    Date range selectors to narrow down scan results.

  • Sort Order
    Results are sorted by Created Date (DESC) by default.

Scan Result Table Columns:

  • LPRS Id – Unique identifier for the scan record (e.g., 18821).

  • Image Id – Identifier for the associated image (e.g., 19598).

  • Location – Where the scan occurred (e.g., “Atlanta Tech Village”).

  • Camera Id – Identifier for the camera used (blank in this example).

  • Created – Timestamp of the scan (e.g., 10/1/2025 7:06 AM).

  • License Plate – Detected plate number (e.g., AMC1001).

  • Region – Geographic region of the plate (blank in this example).

  • Is Correct – Field for validation status (blank in this example).

  • Actions – Includes an edit icon for managing or correcting scan data.


Edit Scan Result

The Edit Scan Result page allows users to review, validate, and update details associated with a license plate recognition (LPR) scan.

Navigation Path:

Portal > Scan Results > Edit Scan Result

Scan Metadata Fields:

  • LPRS Id – Unique scan identifier (e.g., 18821)

  • Image Id – Associated image record (e.g., 19998)

  • Location – Scan location (e.g., “Atlanta Tech Village”)

  • Created – Timestamp of the scan (e.g., 10/1/2025 7:06 AM)

  • License Plate – Detected plate number (e.g., AMC1001)

  • Make / Model / Year / Color – Vehicle details (currently undefined or defaulted)

  • Region – Geographic region (empty in this example)

Customer Information:

  • Customer Name – (empty)

  • Email – (e.g., [email protected])

  • Phone Number – (e.g., 6788231457)

Validation Section:

  • Is Correct – Radio buttons to mark the scan as correct or incorrect

  • Comments – Text box for notes or clarification

Visual & Data Reference:

  • Vehicle Image – Rear view of the scanned vehicle (e.g., red Honda Civic)

  • Scan Data Snapshot – JSON-like structure showing:

    • Model Make – Includes confidence scores and predicted make/model (e.g., Honda Civic at 92.06%)

    • Color – Predicted color values

    • Box & Orientation – Bounding box and image metadata

    • TimestampLocal – Local timestamp of the scan

Action Buttons:

  • UPDATE SCAN RESULT – Saves changes to the current scan

  • SAVE AND NEXT – Saves and advances to the next scan record

Helpful Tips for Reading Results:

· This is an example of a Manual scan, where an attendant on site manually took the snapshot of the vehicle using the button on the iPad. It will show the Camera ID, Filename, and Timestamp

· Automated scans such as this one usually provide a different format for the Filename as well as a source URL. These are the standard formats where the plate was automatically recognized at the lane and a snapshot was taken.
