Kiosk groups allow you to organize sites or device types together to display consistent images, splash screens, videos, and color schemes across multiple locations.
You may want to create additional groups to support promotional periods or to achieve more granular device configuration for specific needs.
IMPORTANT: Do not create new kiosks or devices for these groups. This should be handled by the AMP team. Only move pre-existing kiosks to the new groups you create.
To create a new Kiosk Group, follow these steps:
In the portal, navigate to Hardware > Kiosks.
In the top right-hand corner, select New Kiosk Group, and select the type of group it is by device type.
Automatic - For automatic bay kiosks.
Self Service - For self-service kiosks where customers wash their own vehicles.
Cash Machine - For cash-to-credit conversion machines.
Tunnel - For kiosks and paystations at the lane, including Cash Kings.
Loading Station - For loading stations inside the tunnel.
Display - For lane displays.
In this example, we will set up a new Display Kiosk Group.
Under the Configurations tab, add the Group name and any Footer text. The Footer text can be shown at specific screens that you configure on this page.
Select the background text colors, font colors, and any secondary font colors.
Add images or any background images/videos to the displays.
Under the Splash Screen tab, add any media you want to display while the devices are idle.
Under the Kiosk Purchase Media and Stranded at Gate Media tabs, add any screens you'd like to display such as the wash menu.
Once you've confirmed your setup, click Create Kiosk Group.
Return to the main Kiosk Groups menu and click the Kiosks tab.
Click into any devices you'd like to move to this new group.
On the Kiosk's form, use the Kiosk Group dropdown to move to your new group. Click Update Kiosk.
