What Are Unconfirmed Users?
Unconfirmed users are customers who started creating an account but did not complete the email verification process.
When a customer signs up through the app, they are required to verify their email address using a verification code sent to the email they entered during signup.
If they do not receive the verification email or leave before completing the process, their information will appear under Users (Unconfirmed) in the portal.
Where to Find Unconfirmed Users
To view unconfirmed users:
Navigate to the Portal.
Go to Users & Accounts.
Select Users (Unconfirmed).
This section lists users who began registration but have not verified their email addresses.
Why Users Appear as Unconfirmed
When a customer attempts to sign up with an email that already exists in the system, they may see a message stating:
"Email is associated with an existing account."
In such cases, you can check Users (Unconfirmed) to see if that email address was previously used to start — but not finish — the signup process.
These records are important because they prevent the creation of duplicate accounts and retain the customer’s partial registration data until the process is completed.
Completing the Signup Process
If a user appears under Users (Unconfirmed), they can simply complete their registration by verifying their email. Once verified, their account will move from Unconfirmed Users to Active Users.
