This training video walks you through the entire migration process, from selecting the customer session to capturing payment info and confirming the transition. With AMP Clarity, moving customer info to your new POS system is quick and seamless.
Step-by-Step Process:
Step 1: Access Session Management
From the Session Management screen, identify and select the relevant customer session. In this example, we’ll begin with a session at Pre-Gate.
Step 2: Initiate Migration
Within the session view, tap “Migrate Membership” located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Confirm Legacy Match
If legacy customer data has been successfully located, select “That’s Me” to confirm the match and proceed.
Step 4: Enter Contact Information
Input the customer’s phone number to initiate a text message prompt for email address retrieval.
Step 5: Manual Email Entry (if needed)
If the customer does not respond via text, manually enter their email address. Once all required fields are verified, tap “Confirm” to continue.
Step 6: Account Creation
AMP Clarity will automatically generate a new user account within the app, linking it to the legacy membership data.
Step 7: Add Payment Method
To enable recurring billing, a credit card must be added to the account. Note: No payment is due at the time of migration.
Step 8: Billing Period Continuity
The customer’s billing cycle will remain consistent with their original point-of-sale system.
Step 9: Capture Payment Details
In this example, the card will be entered manually. However, using a Stripe card reader is recommended for faster and more secure processing.
Step 10: Finalize Payment Setup
Once the card is attached to the account, tap “Checkout” to complete the setup.
Step 11: Terms Agreement & Signature
Present the terms and conditions to the customer. Capture their digital signature and have them tap “Agree” to finalize the migration.
Outcome:
The customer’s legacy membership is now successfully migrated to the AMP Clarity platform, with all billing and account details securely updated.
