The Training Wheels feature lets you place a preconfigured popup on your attendant mode home screen. The popup can be preloaded with scripts or other information your attendants need to remember.

Training Wheels is set up through a general app setting and a specifically configured popup.

Note: Only one Training Wheels popup may be active at one time.

To enable Training Wheels for your app, follow these steps:

  1. In the portal, navigate to App Configurations, then Attendant Mode.

  2. Under the Attendant Mode Home section, find the checkbox for "Show Training Wheels" and enable it.

To configure the Training Wheels screen, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Marketing, then Popups.

  2. If this is your first time creating a Training Wheels popup, click New Popup near the top right corner.

If you've already configured a Training Wheels popup, click on it from the list to edit.

Note: Only one Training Wheels popup may be active at one time.

  3. Your description and trigger type on the popup configuration page must match the example below.

    Description: Training Wheels
Trigger Type: Attendant Mode - Add User

Leave all other configuration items on the left side of the page as the default.

  4. On the right side, include an image and enter the 'popup text' you need your employees to remember, such as scripts or promotions. Shorter, wider images will take up a smaller amount of the final screen.

You may configure multiple pages of rich text information if you desire.

Be sure to press Create Popup when finished.

  5. Once you have completed the above steps, navigate or log in to Attendant Mode and press Training Wheels from the attendant mode home screen to access your created popup.

Your attendants can swipe on the popup to view additional pages if you configured them in step 4.
