Configuring Membership Pausing

Customers may wish to pause their memberships for reason of travel, seasonal, financial hardship, etc. Pausing is supported by AMP and has come configurable settings. By default, admins can pause memberships at any time.

To configure membership pausing, follow these steps:

  1. In the portal, select General under the App Configurations tab.

  2. Click on the Membership Parameters tab.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the options for membership pausing. Refer to the following definitions:

    • Allow CSRs to pause subscriptions - extend the pause ability to CSRs
      (enabled for admins only by default).

    • Allow CSRs to unpause subscriptions - extend unpausing to CSRs
      (enabled for admins only by default).

      Note: Unpausing will charge the customer immediately.

    • Allow in-app unpause subscriptions - extend unpausing to customers as a user self-service option in the app.

    • Max Pause Months - set the maximum term (in number of months) that a membership may be paused.

  4. Press Update at the bottom of the screen after the changes are made.
