To export data from Power BI as a .xlsx file, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Power BI report by going to app.powerbi.com and logging in.
In this example, we will be generating a report from "Raw Data Reports" and "Customers."
To open up additional options for report generation, click into a row, and the menu on the right-hand side of the page should open up several more filtering options for your report.
At the top of the report, click on the "More Options" triple-dot menu.
On the drop-down menu, click on "Export Data":
Generate your report. You have the option to generate the report exactly how it looks on the site, or you can generate a summarized data report.
Note: Exports are capped at a maximum of 150,000 rows. To export data that exceeds this limit, you will need to split the report into smaller sections. An easy way to do this is to limit the report by date so that it generates smaller slices of data.
Click "Export" when you're ready to generate your report.
