You may wish to run a promotion that requires single use promo codes to be made in large batches. You can generate a batch of promo codes under the coupon in the portal.
To create a large batch of single-use promo codes, follow these steps:
Navigate to the tool under Marketing > Coupon Management:
If the coupon has not been created yet, create the coupon and configure it.
You can use the following documentation on how to create a coupon here.
Once the coupon is created, click into it and select the Promotion codes tab.
Click Add Promo Code in the top right-hand corner. Select Bulk.
Enter the number of codes you wish to generate. We recommend only generating a maximum of 5000 codes at a time to prevent errors.
Enter the prefix (longer prefixes of 5-6 alphanumeric characters are generally better when creating large batches). An example of a prefix could be something like "WASH," "DEAL," or "SUMMER23":
Enter the number of suffix characters.
You can check the Limit the number of times this code can be redeemed checkbox and set the value to 1. This will allow each promo code to be used once.
You can also add an expiration date for this batch, and export them to a CSV file if desired.
Click Create Promo Code to start the generation.
Your new promo codes will be automatically uploaded to the portal coupon.
