When a customer creates a new account in the app, they must verify their phone number with a verification code sent by SMS text. If they don't receive the text, you can manually bypass the SMS verification step using the portal.
Please keep best practices surrounding fraud in mind when bypassing verification.
To bypass SMS verification, follow these steps:
In the portal, navigate to Users & Accounts and click on Users.
Enter the customer's information into the search bar, then click on their profile.
Click on General, then Roles and Access.
Click on the SMS Verified checkbox. For customers who have yet to verify by SMS, this box should be unchecked when you arrive at the Roles & Access screen.
After verifying that the SMS Verified box is checked, click the Update User button to save the changes.
The customer you assisted should close and reopen their app to continue the signup process.
