Pausing a Customer's Subscription in the Portal (Pay Per Vehicle)

You may offer the ability to pause memberships in the app for customers. This can help retain customers instead of having them outright cancel their membership.


To pause a customer's membership, follow these steps:

  1. In the portal, navigate to Users & Accounts and click on Users.

  2. Enter the customer's information into the search bar, then click on their profile.

  3. Click on Accounts, then Vehicles.

  4. To change the vehicle information, click the triple-dot on the left under "Actions," then select the Modify Vehicle button.

  5. Enter the needed information into the Pause tab.

    Note: The max number of months of allowable pause is configured in General settings and determined by your Wash leadership.

    Pausing will also only take effect on the user's billing date, and will reactivate on the same day of the month to preserve the user's original billing date.


    IMPORTANT: If the customer attempts to wash their vehicle with their membership while paused, it will reactivate automatically.

  6. Click Update to finalize the pause.
