Editing Vehicle Information in the Portal

The portal allows you to edit a customer's vehicle information. If your organization assigns plans by vehicle, best practices for fraud prevention should be considered when altering vehicle information.

To modify a customer's vehicle information in the portal, follow these steps:

  1. In the portal, navigate to Users & Accounts and click on Users.

  2. Enter the customer's information into the search bar, then click on their profile.

  3. Click on Accounts, then Vehicles.

  4. To change the vehicle information, click the triple-dot on the left under "Actions," then select the Modify Vehicle button.

  5. In this Edit Vehicle pop-up, you can change the Year, Make, Model, Body Style, Color, License Plate State, or License Plate Number.

    Note: Spaces and certain Special characters should be omitted when entering Plate Numbers.

    Optionally, you may use the Model Label Override if the customer's vehicle model is not listed in the drop-down menu.

  6. Click Update to save any changes.
