Spoofing Your Location in Dev Settings

During testing, it may become necessary to force the app to "think" that you're at a particular location. For anyone with the Admin role, a "Dev" setting is available that allows you to spoof, or "jump to," any of your registered locations.

To spoof your location, follow these steps:

  1. From the home screen, navigate to the More menu by clicking the triple-dot button at the bottom right of the screen.

  2. Press Dev to navigate to Dev settings, near the bottom of the screen.

  3. Scroll down and press "Override User Coordinates."

  4. Using the drop-down menu, select the desired wash location, then press Done. Your latitude and longitude should change to the wash location selected.

Press the "Save" icon to save your location. Your app will now functionally "think" that you're on-site at the location you selected, and you can proceed with any testing required.

  5. The app will "think" you're at the selected location until you restore your true coordinates, or until you fully close and reopen the app.

To restore your coordinates, navigate to More > Dev, then press "Reset User Coordinates Override." Resetting user coordinates will revert your latitude and longitude coordinates to your true location.
