1. NEW FEATURE – Wash as Add-on

Lets you offer bonus washes with purchase, creating powerful upsell opportunities and customer incentives. Set up additional wash types as add-ons to drive higher transaction values and encourage repeat visits. Perfect for seasonal promotions, rain guarantees, loyalty incentives, or simply encouraging customers to try premium wash packages.

a. Overview

  • Additional Wash Add-ons. Allow customers to choose an extra wash when purchasing a wash or redeeming a member wash. You have the ability to set the price - make it free for promotions or charge a discounted rate.

  • Set Expiration Dates. Decide how many days customers have to use their additional wash. Expiration can be set to zero if you want the additional wash to never expire.

  • Wash is automatically added to the Wash Wallet. When customers buy an additional wash addon via mobile app, kiosk, or attendant mode their wash shows up in their wallet automatically.

b. How It Works

  • Create the Add-on: Go to Portal > Locations & Washes > Add-ons and create a new add-on of type "Additional Wash". Select which wash type customers will receive and set your price.

  • Set Expiration: Use the "Related Wash Expiration" field to choose how many days customers have to use their bonus wash (0 = unlimited).

  • Link to Wash Types: Attach the add-on to specific wash packages through the standard add-on configuration where you want to offer the wash add-on.

  • Customer Purchase: When customers buy the wash and select your add-on, the bonus wash goes directly to their wallet with the expiration date you configured.

c. Benefits

  • Higher Transaction Values: Encourage customers to spend more per visit

  • Repeat Business: Bonus washes bring customers back for future visits

  • Easy Promotion Management: Set up complex promotions without manual tracking

2. NEW FEATURE – The Scan Customer QR Code Feature

Streamlines customer service by letting attendants quickly access customer accounts. Customers can present their unique QR code to get instant, personalized assistance eliminating the need to manually search for accounts. Perfect for locations where attendants regularly help customers with purchases, membership questions, or account management.

a. Overview

  • Configurable Floating QR Code Button. A new floating button on the mobile app home screen gives customers easy access to their unique QR code. You can enable or disable the visibility of the QR code through portal settings.

  • Enhanced Account Actions Screen. When an attendant scans a customer's QR code, they see comprehensive customer details including membership status, wash history, payment methods, and vehicle information. This rich context enables personalized service and informed recommendations.

b. How It Works

  • Customer Access: Customers tap the floating QR code button on their mobile app home screen to display their unique code

  • Attendant Scan: Attendants use the Scan Code feature in the Attendant Mode home screen to scan the customer's QR code

  • Vehicle Selection: After scanning, attendant selects the customer's vehicle from their garage (only required for charge per vehicle approach)

  • Account Details: Attendants see vehicle information, customer details, and available actions in one consolidated view

  • Faster Service: Skip manual account lookup and get straight to customer assistance

  • Better Context: See customer history, membership status, and vehicle details upfront

  • Fewer Errors: Eliminate typing mistakes when looking up customer accounts

  • Personalized Service: Armed with customer information, attendants can provide more tailored assistance

3. NEW FEATURE – Our brand new DropTop Integration

Connects your car wash with Droptop oil change locations to create powerful cross-promotional opportunities. This integration makes it easy to grow your customer base while giving your existing members even more reasons to love their membership.

a. Overview

  • Member Oil Change Benefits. Give your members exclusive discounts at partner oil change locations. Set up percentage or dollar discounts that make your membership even more valuable.

  • Free Wash Codes for Non-Members. Turn every oil change customer into a potential new member. You can offer free wash codes to customers who aren't members yet, giving them a taste of what you offer.

  • Simple Portal Setup. Easy configuration through Portal > Integrations > Droptop. Map oil change tiers and set member benefits with a straightforward interface that gets you up and running quickly.

b. How It Works

  • Set It Up: Configure oil change tiers and member benefits through Portal > Integrations > Droptop. Map your membership plans to oil change service levels and set percentage or dollar discounts for each combination.

  • Members Save: When your members visit partner locations, Droptop looks them up by license plate and automatically applies the configured discount based on their membership plan.

  • Grow Your Base: For customers without memberships, you can choose to offer free wash codes that are generated on-demand and provided at the oil change counter for future redemption.

  • More Traffic: Partner locations send customers your way

  • Happy Members: Extra savings make your membership more attractive

  • Growth Opportunity: Convert oil change customers into loyal car wash members

  • Smart Partnership: Both businesses benefit from increased customer flow

4. FEATURE ENHANCEMENT – Retention bot

Has been expanded to work with all cancelation flows. Retention bot now works even when in-app cancellation is disabled, giving you more opportunities to retain customers before they contact support. When customers attempt to cancel their membership, they'll see your configured retention offers first and only proceed to the contact support options if they decline the offers or no offers are available for their cancellation reason. This enhancement lets you leverage retention offers even if you prefer to handle final cancellations through personal contact with your support team.

a. How It Works

  • When customers click "Cancel Plan," they select a reason and provide comments regardless of your in-app cancellation settings

  • Retention bot automatically shows relevant retention offers based on their selected cancellation reason

  • If customers reject offers or no offers are configured, they're directed to contact support with their cancellation reason and comments pre-filled in the message template in the case of email cancellation.

  • Keep your preferred cancellation workflow while still having the chance to retain customers with targeted offers

5. OTHER ENHANCEMENTS

  • New Customer Journey Action. An action to Upgrade/Downgrade membership has been added to Customer Journeys. Please reach out to your AMP account manager to learn more.

  • Loyalty Points balance added in session management. When available the loyalty points balance has been added to the customer information card in session management to equip attendants with the information they need to promote point redemption while interacting with customers.

  • Default Start and End Date filtering added to the Kiosk Transactions table. To provide faster load times and automatically show the latest transactions, default values have been added to the Kiosk Transactions table start and end date inputs. Now, transactions from the last 7 days will be shown when navigating to this table. There has been no change to the overall functionality of the start and end date filters, they can still be leveraged to show custom date ranges or cleared to show all transactions.

  • Self Service Kiosk UI Enhancements. We've updated the UI in the Clarity Self Service kiosk wash mode selection flow. The wash mode tiles now auto size and align to fit on the screen depending on the number of modes configured.

6. Bugs and Other Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused the buttons on the retention offer screen in the mobile app to be cut off on devices with smaller screens

  • Fixed various other UI/UX bugs across Android and iOS related to the mobile app version update.
