1. NEW FEATURE - Physical products can now be sold directly through Attendant Mode

Products like towels, air fresheners and other car care equipment can now be sold to customers directly via Attendant Mode. After quick setup in the portal, a new menu option will show up in the Attendant Mode home screen that kicks off a flow allowing the attendant to sell physical products to customers on the lot while waiting in line or at the time of a wash purchase.

  • To set up a product, navigate to the portal > Locations and Washes > Products

      1. To set up your first product select the New Product button in the top right corner of the screen. You will be required to add some basic details about the item including the product name and SKU. You can also assign the location(s) where the product will be offered for sale, specify if the product will be taxable, and set a product category, description and image.

      2. Product categories can be edited in the portal > App Configurations > Dynamic Dropdown Values > Product Categories

  • After one or more products have been created and assigned to a location, a new Products tab
will be seen in the location edit form. Products can be enabled or disabled for the location here
OR by editing the locations in the product listing.

After at least one product has been set up via the portal, the Product Sales option will be shown on the
Attendant Mode home screen when the Attendant is geofenced to a location configured to allow sale of
that product. After selecting Product Sales, the Attendant will be shown a list of products and can select
the desired sale quantity of each product. Following this selection, they will check the customer out and
send a receipt via text if desired. The physical product checkout flow currently supports gift cards and
credit cards as payment options. Currently cash transactions and use of a card on file are not supported.

2. FEATURE ENHANCMENT – Additional capabilities for Fleet Pay Per Wash accounts

Following the release of RFID/LPR integration for Fleet Pay Per Wash accounts last month, we have
continued to build on PPW offerings.

  • Added support for Fleet PPW vehicles at Clarity sites. Vehicles belonging to Pay Per Wash Fleets
will now be recognized as members at Clarity sites and allowed to proceed with their wash.

  • Updated Fleet PPW accounts to allow Add/Edit of RFID. The Add/Edit RFID option will now be shown in the Edit Fleet account > Vehicles tab > Action menu for Fleet Pay Per wash accounts. Adding/updating the RFID is the same as the existing flow for other fleet types/user accounts.

  • Added the ability for Fleet PPW accounts to use a “Charge immediately” billing method. When a “Charge immediately” billing method is configured, a valid payment method must remain on file for vehicles to be allowed to redeem their membership wash.

  • NOTE: In order to be processed automatically by LPR/RFID/Clarity, PPW Fleet accounts should ideally be configured with a single Wash Type selected. If this Wash Type is not offered at a location where the PPW Fleet washes, additional Wash Types may be added. However, any multiple-selected Wash Types within a single PPW Fleet must NOT be offered at the same location or the system will not know which Wash Type to automatically recognize.

      • Correct configuration: Two Wash Types configured for the PPW Fleet where Wash Type 1 is available at location A and Wash Type 2 is available at location B

      • Incorrect configuration: Both Wash Types are selected in the PPW Fleet and are available at location A, so all PPW washes for this fleet will be blocked at location A

Fleet invoice pro-rating. Pay Per Vehicle and Pay Per User Fleets can now be configured to use invoice pro-rating. This will prevent invoices from being sent to customers every time the Fleet account is updated. To turn on pro-ration, navigate to the fleet form and edit the new ‘Invoice Prorating” flag found in the Account Settings section.

  • When pro-ration is turned on and a new user or vehicle is added to the fleet, the charge for the
new user/vehicle will be added to the next upcoming invoice (pro-rated for the portion of the
month) and the account will be billed on their normal recurring bill date.

  • When pro-ration is turned on and a user or vehicle is removed from a fleet, a credit will be added to the invoice for the remaining days in the month and the next invoice will be reduced by the credited amount.

3. FEATURE ENHANCEMENTS

  • Updates to Attendant Scorecard data. When an attendant sells a subscription, the data for that sale will now show up in their scorecard immediately. No more sync delay!

  • New option to send receipt after a Gift card is sold through Attendant Mode. Attendants selling gift cards will now see an option to send a receipt via text for the purchase if desired.

  • New external endpoints have been added.

    • Endpoints to support prepaid promotion-related actions:

        1. Get all current prepaid promotions

        2. Generate a prepaid promotion invoice

        3. Purchase a prepaid promotion

        4. Get prepaid promotion purchase history for a user

        5. Verify if the user has hit a promotion purchase limit

    • Endpoint to allow for a refund of a transaction in the AMP system. This endpoint also handles the refund in Stripe.

    • Endpoint that returns a single retention offer related to provided cancellation reason and other criteria, randomly selected the same way it would be in the AMP mobile app.

    • Please reach out to your AMP team for more information about using external endpoints.

  • Updated license plate character validation to allow for use of the ampersand. Users with ampersand (&) characters in their license plate are now able to add the character when configuring license plate details for their vehicle.

  • Updates to Attendant Mode permissions for Maintenance role users. Users with a Maintenance role will now have access to ONLY the Maintenance option when viewing the Attendant Mode home screen.

    • The Maintenance Mode User Permissions input has been moved from the general configuration form to the Attendant Mode configuration form > Attendant Mode Home section.

    • The Maintenance Mode User Permissions input now allows None as a valid option. Setting the permission to None hides Maintenance Mode from all users.

4. Bugs and Other Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused the Legacy members uploader to error when a license plate update was
    included in the upload.

  • Fixed a bug that caused an AMP internal ID to show in the integrations form, External Customer Id column.
