NEW FEATURE – Pause Subscriptions
You can now pause a customer’s subscription for a set number of billing cycles in the portal.
Pausing a subscription has the following effects:
The customer will not be charged again until their subscription unpauses.
The customer will have access to their plan’s free washes UNTIL their current billing cycle ends and then will lose access to their free washes until their subscription is unpaused and resumes billing.
Once paused, you and/or the customer (depending on the configurations you choose) can unpause the subscription manually and immediately resume billing and free wash access.
When a subscription is unpaused, either as scheduled or manually, the customer will automatically be charged for a full billing cycle. If unpaused manually, their billing period will be reset to start immediately.
The subscription will show a status of “Pauses On [end of current billing cycle date]” or “Paused Until [billing resumes date]” depending on if the subscription has reached the end of the current billing cycle.
For marketing audience purposes, customers with a paused subscription will still be considered “members.” Otherwise, a paused subscription will not be considered active (e.g., for determining how many users can be added as linked accounts).
How to pause a subscription:
Lookup a user and navigate to the “Accounts” or “Garage” tab. Find their subscription in the “Overview” tab (for charge per user) or “Vehicles” tab (for charge per vehicle).
Click the “Pause” button (if charge per vehicle, click the triple dot menu first).
Choose the number of billing cycles to pause the subscription.
For example, a monthly subscription paused for 3 billing cycles will be paused for 3 months after the current billing cycle ends. A 6-month subscription paused for 2 billing cycles will be paused for 12 months.
You can set a limit on how many billing cycles a subscription can be paused for in “App Configurations” > “Membership Parameters” > “Pausing.”
You will be shown the day the current billing cycle ends (the customer will have access to their free washes until then) and the day the subscription will unpause and billing will resume (unless manually unpaused at an earlier date).
(Optional) Enter comments. These will be saved in the “Comments” tab for the user.
How to unpause a subscription in the portal:
Lookup a user and navigate to the “Accounts” or “Garage” tab. Find their subscription in the “Overview” tab (for charge per user) or “Vehicles” tab (for charge per vehicle).
Click the “Unpause” button (if charge per vehicle, click the triple dot menu first).
Note: If the subscription has not yet reached the end of the same billing cycle it was paused within, the scheduled pause is simply being canceled as it never paused in the first place (i.e., no payment was skipped).
How to unpause a subscription in the app:
If charge per user, navigate to “User Settings” > “Manage Membership” or proceed to the wash screen where you will be asked to “Unpause Subscription” or “Purchase a Wash.”
If charge per vehicle, click into the vehicle with the plan you want to unpause and click “Unpause” or proceed to the wash screen where you will be asked to “Unpause Subscription” or “Purchase a Wash.”

NEW FEATURE – Use Webhooks to Send Events Occurring In AMP to 3rd Party Tools
You can now setup webhooks to share certain events with 3rd party tools to automate more actions based on your customers’ activity.
For example, you may want to kick-off an email campaign in a CRM tool whenever a customer signs up for a subscription.

NEW FEATURE – Update a Customer’s Subscription Product or Price In the Portal
You can now change a customer’s subscription product and/or price in the portal.
This allows you to upgrade or downgrade a customer to a different plan level on their behalf (similar to how they would do so in the app).
This also allows you to change the customer to a different price on the same plan level (e.g., a different price group or from an archived price to an active price).
How to change plan level or price:
Lookup a user and navigate to the “Accounts” or “Garage” tab. Find their subscription in the “Overview” tab (for charge per user) or “Vehicles” tab (for charge per vehicle).
Click the “Modify” button (if charge per vehicle, click the triple dot menu first).
Choose the “New Product” from the dropdown menu, even if not changing the product. See screenshot below for an example.
Choose the “New Price” from the next dropdown menu.
You will be shown the amount due today (if moving to a higher priced plan) and the next renewal amount and date.
(Optional) Enter comments. These will be saved in the “Comments” tab for the user.
Similar to changes made in the app, upgrades to higher priced plans will be made immediately and the customer will be charged a prorated amount of the difference. Downgrades to lower priced plans will be scheduled to go into effect when the current billing cycle ends and nothing will occur immediately.
Changes to a lower priced plan can be reversed before they go into effect by clicking “Undo Scheduled Change.” The customer can still do this in the app as well.
Other Improvements
Attendant Mode: Tap to pay available on all purchases. You can now use tap to pay to collect payment on any purchase type, including individual washes and membership sign ups.
Charge per user subscriptions: Reactivate a subscription that is scheduled to cancel. If a customer has their subscription scheduled to cancel at period end, you can now click “Reactivate” in the portal to remove the scheduled cancelation and keep it active (this is currently already an option for charge per vehicle subscriptions). If a subscription has already reached its cancelation date, the customer will still need to create a new one if they want to return.
Direct customers to a specific screen in the app through a link. You can now share a hyperlink that will automatically navigate the customer a specific screen in the app (if the customer has downloaded the app). Contact [email protected] for details on how to create this hyperlink.
Enhanced invoice history page in the portal. The invoice history page now has all invoices (not just last 10), a status filter (with “Paid” as the default), and additional details on the invoice amount, applied credits, and amount paid or still due.
More control over “Unlimited Washes” and “Receive Code Notifications” permissions. These two permissions which are typically reserved for internal users are now only editable by admins and have been renamed to “Free Washes” and “Get Low Code Emails” for clarity.
Modify the text in the wash completed popup. You can customize the text that displays when a customer clicks “Wash Completed” on the wash code screen. Search for “WASH_COMPLETED” on the “Dynamic Text” page in the portal to edit the text.
More visible subscription status for charge-per-user subscriptions. For charge per user subscriptions, the subscription status (e.g., “Cancels On”, “Renews On”, “Past Due”) will show on every vehicle the user has in their garage and when using that vehicle (e.g., to get a wash).
Tax rate exports and template downloads. You can now export out your current sales tax rates for easy editing and re-importing. You can also download a blank template if starting from scratch.
