  1. NEW FEATURE – In App Tipping

    • You can now enable tipping in your app and customize which locations can collect tips.

    • When enabled, a new input will be shown on the checkout screen allowing the customer to add a tip to their wash purchase or plan wash.

    • For plan washes, when tipping is enabled a new checkout screen will be shown in the wash selection flow to allow customers to include a tip if desired. The price of the wash will be struck through and marked as “included”.

    • Tip amount is currently constrained to a minimum value of $1.00 and maximum value of $99.99.

    • Please reach out to [email protected] to learn more.

  1. NEW FEATURE – Block Potentially Fraudulent Users and Their Phone Number

  2. In order to actively combat fraud, you are now able to block a phone number and lock all associated accounts.

  3. To block a phone number, lookup the potentially fraudulent user in the portal and click “BLOCK USER.”

  4. When a number is blocked:

    • Any accounts associated with that number will be locked out of the app.

    • New accounts will not be allowed to be created with that number.

    • If an attempt is made to log into an account associated with a blocked number a message will alert the user that their account is locked.

    • Any user logged into the app when a number associated with their account is blocked will be automatically logged out after 45 minutes or when they next open the app.

  5. To unblock a phone number, look up user in the portal, you will now find an “UNBLOCK USER” action.

  6. The block/unblock form requires a comment. This comment will be automatically posted to the comments section of the user form along with the date, time and name of representative who took the action to block/unblock.

  7. Please reach out to [email protected] to learn more.

  1. NEW FEATURE – Refunds

    • Admins can now issue refunds in the portal.

      • Refund privileges can also be turned on for CSRs via App Configurations.

    • Refunds can be issued to app user transactions by looking up the user in portal and navigating to the Billing/Payments tab invoice history section.

    • Refunds can be issued for “guest checkout” wash purchases by navigating to the Guest User Activity table.

    • The triple dot action icon on the far left of either table can be used to access the issue refund form.

    • Refunds can be issued for full or partial amounts up to the amount paid.

    • A reason and comment text must be provided when a refund is issued. A comment will be automatically added to the user form comments tab that shows:

      • The amount refunded

      • Invoice Id

      • The comment left by the Admin/CSR

    • Please reach out to [email protected] to learn more.

  1. Other Improvements

  • Differentiate loyalty point conversions for subscription and non-subscription payments. We’ve added more flexibility to the loyalty program! You can now set separate dollar to point conversion rates for subscription payments vs. one-time purchase payments in the loyalty configuration page in the portal. This can be used to effectively turn loyalty points off for one category of payments, if for example you don’t want users accruing loyalty points on subscription payments. You could also use this feature to incentivize one-time purchases specifically, by offering double points during a promotion.

  • Updates to the gift card and credit balance screen(s). We have updated the UI of the gift card and credit balance screen, creating a sleeker look and feel and giving you more control over the components of the screen. For example, you can edit more of the text and/or split the gift card actions and credit balance into 2 app screens. Please contact [email protected] for any help with updating your gift card and credit balance screen(s).

  • Updates to the portal themes edit view. We’ve reorganized the form, separating dynamic text, brand image and animation overrides into their own tabs. We’ve also added a new location tab. The location tab allows you to easily set locations to the currently selected theme in bulk.

  1. Bug Fixes and Other Clean Up Items

    • In the portal, added legacy plan id to the legacy members table and included it when exporting to CSV.

    • In the app, updated the more menu to always show the Attendant Mode menu option (if enabled), even if the attendant is not at a site. If they aren’t, we show a friendly message to indicate that they must be on site to use Attendant Mode.

    • Fixed a bug that caused the wash code to not show up in the text message that is sent to the user after completing the flow to purchase a wash in Attendant Mode.

    • Fixed a bug that caused an incorrect proration on a customer’s invoice after pausing a subscription then unpausing before the end of a full billing period.

    • Fixed a bug that caused a popup not to be shown in the app if it was configured to use the wash completed trigger.
