Sending a Receipt to a Customer Through Stripe

Customers may download their 10 most recent receipts at any time through the app. Finding Customer Receipts in the App. However, invoices/receipts in the portal expire after 30 days.

If a customer requests receipts older than 30 days, you may send those directly to a customer's email through Stripe.


To send a customer's receipt to their email through Stripe, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Stripe and search for the user's account by email.

  2. On the customer's account, scroll down to the section titled "Payments."

  3. Find the payment you need, and click on the triple-dot to the right of the payment.

  4. Click "Send receipt" from the drop-down menu as shown.
